Hello everyone, wow its been a really long time since I last blogged! omggggg it is all because everytime I am on my laptop, my baby will definitely wants to disturb me, so yuppppp no laptop at the moment, sobs sobs
Anyways, since my baby is now has turned 1 year old in 2nd April 2019, he has to change his milk steps (formula milk), before this he is using 'Enfalac (step 1, 0-12 months)' until he is almost reaching 1 year old, but towards the end of the month of March 2019, we noticed he easily vomited, he poop become a bit harder, that's when we think it must be the milk
Then, we tried to change the steps to step 2 same brand 'Enfalac', but sadly our baby poop was too watery although he is not in pain and no vomiting at all, and we think is not right to have a watery poop like that,
So, we had to let our baby finish 1 box of Enfalac (Step 2, 12 -18 months) and the result is still the same, I told my husband maybe we shoud change to step 3? so we did try 'Enfagrow (Step 3, 1-3 years)' but the result is still not good, his poop become harder and a bit watery, he even sometimes in pain and crying when he wants to pass motion,
Next! we decided to change the brand, we thought 'maybe Enfalac/Enfagrow is not suitable for him anymore'. So,we did change to 'Dugro (honey)' , the reason we chose Dugro is more because of our nephew has the same problem like my baby and we think this might be working for him since it is working for our nephew, so yeah we gave it a try, also I made a mistake to introduce our baby to a flavor milk, because by that time we are still unsure whether the milk is suitable for him or not, since it is honey flavor, he really enjoys drinking his milk, but we forgot if its not good for him we have to change it again and it will be hard because of the sweet flavor and we never thought he refuse to drink his milk in original flavor , but that is what happen to us!
Sadly, Dugro is not good at all for our baby, his poop is even harder ! and he even cried so much when he wants to poop, poor him, we tried to ask some doctors, they all said the milk is not a problem at all, it is usually they have to consume a balance food like drink more water, eat more veggies , things like that. Also, some of the nurses said when we change milk usually the result is like that, it takes time for the poop to be normal again
Since I am a new mum, I am taking all the advice, but it turn out wrong, I don't feel good about this and told my husband maybe we should change the brand again, and we chose 'Friso Gold (step 3)' OMGGGGGG it is workingggg!!! the moment he drinks this milk his poop turn back to normal in just 1 day!!!, not too watery anymore, and not too hard, its NORMAL! yayyyyyyy!!! I heard they say Friso is really good for babies who have this problem, Alhamdulillah our baby is not in pain anymore,
So, mommies! when you feel it is the right thing to do for your baby, just do it! Mom's instinct is always right!
