Yeap, two weeks...yes! its possible girls, i experienced it myself! hehe, Welllllll.... at first memang cm "OMGGGG Serious ar 2 weeks??! cmana nak cari baju? camana nak cari org deco? cmana nak cari itu ini??" all these questions kept on coming to you (specially perempuan side), but Alhamdulillah Allah permudahkan jalan kami dan semua berjalan according to the plan.
Before i start sharing, let me introduce myself first,
I am NF, turning 27 years old this October 2016, and yes happily engaged with my Mr MZ. We have been in relationship for 5 years, We started to know each other closer on 12th September 2010, and Alhamdulillah until now still.
Before the engagement ceremony start, My family decided to do a process for merisik.
Merisik? apa tu? setengah orang kalau dah kenal lama they will escape this step or terus buat merisik ni masa tunang nanti (semua depend on keselesaan keluarga masing2, for this part tak da salah atau benar), but for my case we wanted to discuss further with his family side about the engagement ceremony and the topic will be mainly focus on that. Merisik usually more santai and its a family to family conversation. Us? we lari kejup sbb tak nak kacau orang tua kami berbincang sesama sendiri. Selepas selesai berbincang kita datang balik untuk process sarung cincin yang di sarung oleh his beloved mother.
Selepas Merisik selesai, yes! terus kelam kabut browsing through all insta shop and whatsapp all kenalan rapat untuk mintak contacts, dapat contact terus jangan lambat2 untuk bertanya tentang availability orang tu, perkara pertama sekali nak book is Catering and Pelamin Deco, kalau dua ni tak ada memang susah sangat.
Catering: usually Majlis Pertunangan ni maximum 50-100 pax je, depends on bilangan ahli keluarga jugak, macam myself it was below 50pax, Alhamdulillah makanan semua cukup. Catering ni we amik from kenalan keluarga,Our menu masa hari engagement tu was Nasi Briyani sbb ini adalah fav makanan papa kita hehe.
Pelamin Deco: Contact from my BFF yang telah pun mengguna servis beliau berkali2 and Alhamdulillah masa ni orang yang buat pelamin ni free phewwwww, and the best part is she buat pelamin, make up and deco for hantaran as well! tak payah pening2 kepala nak cari orang lain, easier if amik package from one person kan,Once you dah confirm your Eday date, she will come to meet you personally and discuss with you apa yang you nak, so far she paham apa yang i nak. She gave me a very sweet color for my pelamin and make up. She also buat make up for my mummy. Contact her for more info, she's friendly and nice!
Photographer / Videographer: Usually not many future bride or groom nak hire a photographer or videographer, kesemuanya ikut kemampuan masing2. My cousin voluntarily helped me and do a video shooting of the event! he even helped me to edit it! I can see a bright future awaits for him! love all his shots! sangat natural and smooth, good job on your first try cousie! Below is the video that my cousin edit and shot by himself! *until now asyik tgk je video ni, keke*
Photobook Album: Lepas dah amik gambar cantik2, mesti nak simpan untuk kenangan kan, sooo i chose Photobook service. Honestly, Memang tak tau menahu tentang ni, lepas dah ada special event baru nak take note all this kan, Anyways...kepada sesiapa yang ragu2 nak guna service photobook ni korang leh tarik nafas lega now, sebab at first memang takut jugak nak bayar full payment to tempat yang kita tak sure dapat ke tak buku kita ni. After baca review and research sana sini baru ada keyakinan skit nak order album dekat sni. Steps sangat simple, first pilih your size buku, nak besar mana pastu pilih material cover buku, either imagewrap or debossed cover. Usually dua ni famous for wedding/engagement. Just follow the steps and you are ready to go! service dieorg sgt efficient and very very fast! dalam masa 3 hari dieorg dah siap printing but delivery process tu yang makan masa, so sesiapa yang live near with the courier service advisable to pick up by yourself. Lepas dapat the album mmg puas hati sangat, quality mantap! and dapat susun gambar and pilih gambar sendiri. I will use this service again for my Wedding album pulak next! *thumbs up*

Goodies: Since preparation hanya 2 weeks, so we decided untuk buat goodies sendiri, selalunya kalau majlis pertunangan ni more to manis manisan, so pihak perempuan decided untuk give candies to the guests and we bought the bekas dekat GM Klang and DIY Tag sendiri :D
Dress / Baju Melayu: Kami telah decide untuk beli RTW collection, for perempuan i wanted a dress yang nampak sweet but tak over, and i bought mine from New Look boutique, best part butik ni is dia siap sekali dengan veil! wuhuuuu tak yah cari veil dah hehe, and yes kat kedai tu ada banyak sangat ready to wear design yg very appropriate for any special event with pricing yang sangat reasonable. My shawl i bought it dekat instashop @heartandshawl, kedai ni die ada pelbagai warna shawl, cakap je nak warna apa, mesti ada! and senang nak bentuk keke. Bagi Baju Melayu untuk lelaki pulak, masa ni both of us freak out sebab majlis kami ni diadakan pada bulan Disember, bulan hari raya pun dah lepas, ada lagi ke kedai jual baju melayu? ronda punya ronda, Alhamdulillah...jumpa jugak di area Shah Alam, Jakel. Selamat masa kitaorg datang tu dieorg tengah buat clearance sales, so we dpt a very good deal! and its a Aaron Aziz Collection, memang banyak sgt choice of colors, semua jenis tone warna ada kat sana.
Welcome Board / Props: Welcome board ni telah di design oleh abang ku tercinta, he's a graphic designer and memang amat mahir dalam designing, so dia yang menolong adik die yang comel ni for welcome board A2 size. Setelah membuat research , tak banyak kedai yang jual welcome board together with the stand, Most of them menyewakan stand tersebut, for me i find it a little bit hassle if sewa, sbb lepas guna tu nak kena pulangkan balik semua, kalau rosak kena bayar ganti rugi lagi and harga sewa is not cheap! quite pricey! sooo i decided to look around for the stand, they call it 'easel stand' for A2 poster welcome board. I bought mine dekat area Shah Alam Seksyen 2, they sell it for RM 60-70 (sewa from shop will be RM35 , if im not mistaken), and the props pun DIY sendiri, sebab masa ni whatsapp some of the instashop yang buat service ni tapi they didn't reply,so i decided to do it myself! hehe.
Hantaran: Perempuan 7 Dulang, Lelaki 5 Dulang (nak lebih pun boleh). Usually nombor ganjil dibalas dengan nombor ganjil dan perempuan selalunya memberikan lebih dulang kepada pihak lelaki, ini kerana pihak lelaki telah menyediakan cincin dan duit hantaran untuk majlis perkahwinan pada masa akan datang. Barang hantaran untuk majlis pertunangan selalunya berasaskan manis manisan, seperti cupcake, coklat, candy, popcorn atau kalau nak bagi barang lain pun boleh jugak but always ingat sesama sendiri 'kalau kasi ni die guna tak' so that tak membazir later on.
