Step 3: Wedding Dress

Mesti all of you dah ada your dream wedding dress kan? It is time to make it reality! 

First, ambil semua gambar2 yang you guys dah save...and if you are making a new dress show it to your tailor first, tanya them what are the types of kain you have to buy and berapa meter, always minta advice dieorg dulu before beli, sebab takut terkurang kain nanti dua kali kerja pula kan or if you are using designer, then you tak perlu susah2 fikir nak beli kain semua, they will do it for you.

As for my case, our baju nikah we tempah sendiri from our personal tailor, she designed my baju nikah to a baju kurung modern and my partner baju melayu modern, baju nikah kitaorg simple2 je sebab at least lepas ni kalau nak guna for majlis2 lain ke tak de lah rasa segan sangat kan. For our baju reception pula, we use Zamrimatouch, mesti korang dengar nama je dah tau kan? yes! baju dieorg memang kebaboom! tak menyesal hire dieorg, dalam gambar nampak grand sangat! I chose them sebab the design and the color really attracts me and sama macam what I wanted.

So after you guys dah settle book your venue, print out the wedding cards, next get your baju done ASAP, sebab if anything baju dah ada, kalau nak tambah apa2 lepas tu pun senang tak payah risau bab2 major ni dah.

Step 4: Make up

This is the very crucial part for every bride to be, bila part ni mesti dilemma nak make up yang macam mana semua kan, and tak tahu nak choose Make up artist (MUA) yang mana satu. Selalunya for those yang masih ragu2 which look they should go for masa big day nanti, you can call out your selected MUA for a trial make up, dari situ you guys akan lagi confident with the look.

Kalau for me, I prefer soft, sweet with glittery look and I really puas hati with my MUA in Kuala Lumpur, her touch is masyallah! superb ok! seriously she ada her magic touch, you request je what kind of look you nak, she will work out her magic , here's some before and after gambar masa my wedding aritu, and you guys can check out her instagram as well!

I'm wearing lens from JL lens, and fell in love lepas pakai, rasa sangat selesa and the color is really nice , the one I'm wearig for both of my reception was 'Misty Grey' cantikkkkkk angattt!

and she did a make up for my mum as well! cantik kan? natural je!

#Panic 2: Wedding Cards

Step 2: Wedding Cards

So let's get beezy part 2! venue (checked), date (checked), timing (checked) itinerary (checked), hmmmm what else? everything is done, so once semua dah CONFIRM and final, you guys can straight away print the wedding card. 

Itsokay to print your cards early, its actually a bonus points for ya! sebab sometimes we have to attend friends/families weddings kan, and its a perfect time to pass your card to them, sebab masa ni semua dah berkumpul in one place, so you save yourself from stamps (smart right? keke) 

Actually some people prefer if you kasi your wedding card by hand, some say tak payah card send invite dekat facebook or whatsapp pun ok, so whichever should be fine.

Card: Kad Stailo

So my card, I chose Kad Stailo..I know them sebab my friend ramai yang guna their service and would like to try out this company, Alhamdulillah it turn out well. Some company offers package as well, mcm if you buy 500 cards you will get this and this. For my case, I ordered 1000pcs and the package was Free envelope (White color only), 2 buntings, 5 arrow signage and 1 welcome board. 

I like their designs, all design dieorg very sweet, cute, elegant and suits with my English theme, Here's some details and pictures:-

#Panic 1: Venue

Don't panic, Don't panic...*breathe* *breathe*...
(look at calendar, apaa?? nak dekat daaa??) 

*panic attack*

Exactly the feeling I felt before, sometimes that so we call 'counting down' apps are not helping at all! (grrrr) buat org gelabah je taw....padahal banyak jugak dah settle at that time, cuma u just felt ada je benda yang tak settle2 lagi, so my advice to every bride to be, take a deep breathe, relax because you are doing just fine, I understand that feeling to give the very best for your guest, Insyallah it will turn out just fine. The bride's job nanti dekat atas pelamin tu just smile and be pretty , try not to think about the operations of the majlis (nanti gambar tak cantik sbb muka stress duk memikir) 

Step 1: Venue

Once you guys dah discuss about your wedding date cepat2 pergi secure booking for your selected venue, before start anything, Venua lah masalah paling crucial sekali dalam majlis perkahwinan, some places kena book one year early taw, so once you know yours...ajak your parents and secure your date! mcm my case dulu, a week after my engagement we straight away go and survey around for the wedding venue, and Alhamdulillah we found one that is closer with everyone and guess what! masa nak secure date tu rupanya ramai dah book untuk tahun depan, panic juga masa tu takut date yang we'olls nak tu dah ada org ambil, but Alhamdulillah our date tu kosong lagi, so phewww...booked!

Where? if you are familiar dengan area TTDI or Damansara, its right next to Masjid Al-Ghuffran , ada one nice english design dewan that sangat kena with my wedding theme, the dewan offers skali with full package, so you don't have to pening kepala fikir mana nak cari catering, mak andam, photographer and everything else..but kalau korang dah ada specific people to cover your wedding macam you dah ada your personal photographer, make up artist, you can tell them about that and they will scratch off mana yang you tak perlu take with them...

Next Step: Pendaftaran Perkahwinan

Oh yesssss, this part is the pening kepala part! why?? sbb each daerah is different2 ways/ procedure...KL lain, Selangor lain, Melaka lain...sooooo yeahhh...poningggggg

so we overcome this pening session by taking it slow and break it into part by part....before we start anything, we asked around our friends/ families yang telah pun di ijab kabul for some tips..but again setiap negeri lain2 procedure, so the very best solution is to directly call your jabatan agama, As for myself, i went and call out JAIS (Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor) for confirmation regarding the paperwork. 

As for my partner, he has to ask a permission from Melaka utuk berkahwin diluar daerah, before the girl nak start anything make sure the guy side settle dulu, why? because you need your partner's (guy) paperwork to send together kepada u'olls punya jabatan agama nanti.

Guy: my partner has to go to his nearby masjid and meet with the ustaz in charge, lepas tu korg jgn panic because they know what to do next. The very best thing about today's technology was , we dont have to go all the way to the jabatan agama hanya untuk minta borang, now senang sgt, dieorg dah sediakan kemudahan by just one click away, go to the website> look for the borang> download> isi > go to your jabatan agama and ask for clarification > and Alhamdulillah, you are one step closer! 

Girl: After your partner dah setle all his paperwork , now its your time ! hehe, kalau for me, i stayed in Selangor, but akan bernikah di KL...soooo yes! saya jadi konpiusss! nak gi mana ni? JAWI ke? JAIS ke? whereee??? so i called out JAIS and ask for their confirmation, they said to download the 'Borang 2C' online and berjumpa with our jurunikah yang akan nikahkan kami nanti, so we went to the masjid yang mana kami akan melangsungkan pernikahan and berjumpa dengan ustaz in charge, 

BEFORE THAT, jangan lupa untuk bring 2 orang saksi (Lelaki sahaja, Umur akal baligh, adik beradik/ sedara mara/ kawan boleh menjadi saksi) dan 1 orang wali (bapa). Then bring them to see your ustaz in charge , ustaz tu akan clarify everything and let them sign the borang. Next, lepas smua dah clarify, you can go to JAIS (ikut address negeri dekat IC korg) and kasi all the documents dekat dieorg, they will check everything and akan keluarkan 'surat kebenaran untuk berkahwin di luar daerah'. For this step, you don't have to bring your saksi, wali, partner...nak gi sorang or with kawan pun boleh, nak ajak partner teman pun boleh jugak, xde hal! 

oh, here's the procedure that you must follow (screenshot from JAIS official website):-

After they already release the surat kebenaran, you can bring this to JAWI, next step ni sgt2 mudah, bawak je documents ni as how they give it to you, double check with them every documents before going to Jabatan Agama lain. Pihak JAWI akan ask you to isi one borang untuk register and they akan kasi you final paper of  'Surat Kebenaran Berkahwin' di daerah dieorg and bring this documents to your jurunikah ASAP sbb takut dieorg nak prepare kan any necessary paperwork (better way to ask them first if they need it earlier)

Next? YOU ARE DONE!! no more paper work, Kursus Kahwin (Checked), HIV test (checked), Paperwork (checked), now 100% can focus with your wedding prep!!

 jangan buat terlalu awal ok nanti tak sah pulak-
